A medieval town
The picture shows the structure of a medieval town (6th to 15th century). Especially in the 12th and 13th century many new towns were found along the important trade routes.
You can see a black and white, bird's eye perspective drawing: With the church in the center, the streets are laid out in a radial order and directly lead to the town-wall its towers and ramparts. Fields and pasture are connected to the system of the town.
