The picture shows the coronation of Charles VII in the Cathedral of Reims on 17th of July 1429. Joan of Arc participated in the ceremony. In the picture you can see her standing beside the altar and hailing the flag of victory. She´s wearing the suit of armour she used during the Hundred Years War when she fought for the French against the British. It is the peak of her fame.
